Account Officer at ASA SECURITY

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join the accounting team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all accounting, financial documentation, and reports are accurate, efficient, updated, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting and financial record keeping and documentation
• Assist with cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Monitor the stages and progress of all financial transactions
• Prepare accounting and financial reports and documents
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
• Ensure all accounting processes are performed in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare net asset value calculations and other periodic reports for clients
• Prepare cash reports
• Maintain operational data and ensure compliance with all fund rules and regulations
• Reconcile bank statements

Required Qualifications

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a relevant field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of management accounting
• Knowledge of Nigerian Tax systems

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Working knowledge of financial statutory requirements
• Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Ability to maintain high accuracy and detailed file notes
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
