Account Executive at RT Briscoe

About the Role

RT Briscoe is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a talented Account Executive to join our Lagos office. In this role, you will manage critical accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax administration while providing valuable financial insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records in compliance with IFRS and internal policies
• Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management
• Support budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports
• Assist in internal and external audit processes, providing relevant documentation
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making
• Manage tax administration, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and Corporate Income Tax filings
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting to regulatory authorities
• Proactively manage receivables collection

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification: ACA or Final stage of ICAN
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within the real estate or property services sector

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics or ERP systems) and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
