Yoruba Language Teacher at Dansol Christian Mission

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lagos. The Yoruba Language Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Yoruba language lessons, developing teaching resources, and fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of Yoruba language and culture among students.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive lesson plans
• Teach grammar, literature, and oral proficiency
• Assess student performance and support their overall academic development
• Develop engaging teaching resources
• Maintain effective classroom management
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high educational standards aligned with Dansol Christian Mission's core values

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Yoruba language teaching
• Background in Education and Yoruba Literature
• Proven experience in lesson planning and classroom teaching
• Effective classroom management skills
