About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for the Wells Advisor position. This is an expert-level role designed for a late-career professional with extensive experience in drilling, well, and construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate local construction, well, and drilling contractors during multiple phases of operations
- Evaluate, qualify, and oversee local contractors to ensure Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) license to operate commitments are implemented
- Create and steward accurate location plat drawings for use in regulatory permitting and government interface purposes
- Manage all aspects of well site construction as the company representative, ensuring compliance with approved location plat specifications
- Interact with project teams and support security location modifications as necessary
- Verify cost estimates and invoices, confirming that work scope was completed as per agreed contractual commitments
- Provide operational and drilling construction reference to project management teams during detail design development, construction, and commissioning of drilling components for offshore platforms
- Serve as primary interface between Topsides design team, O&M Contractor, and Drilling Operations team
- Attend meetings and represent the function as necessary

Wells Advisors typically have expertise in one or more job family skills and serve as resources to mentor and develop the broader organization. You will be essential to mentor and advise drilling and completion engineers on well planning, well design, and operational surveillance for the safe and efficient drilling and completion of drilling programs.
