## Title: Warehouse & Logistics Officer - Groupage
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse & Logistics Officer to manage warehouse operations and coordinate transportation activities. This role involves overseeing receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate quantities and quality
- Conduct physical and cycle counts, update inventory records, and ensure stock is organized and stored correctly
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages and manage the reconditioning and storage of goods
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and that all equipment is maintained and functioning properly
Logistics & Transportation
- Schedule and coordinate the movement of goods with carriers, suppliers, and other logistics providers
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise
- Prepare shipping documents, bills, and invoices, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurate and compliant with regulations
- Analyze and optimize transportation routes and carrier performance to minimize costs and improve efficiency
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, internal policies, and relevant trade agreements
- Collect and analyze data to report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover and on-time delivery
- Identify areas for improvement in the supply chain and warehouse operations and help implement new strategies
- Maintain relationships with carriers, vendors, and other stakeholders
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc/HND in Warehouse & Logistics or related field
