About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to join our team as a Waitress at Above Lifestyle in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Experience

• Welcome guests warmly and provide outstanding table service in line with brand standards
• Present menus, make recommendations, and upsell food and beverages professionally
• Ensure all orders are taken accurately and delivered promptly
• Follow service etiquette, sequence of service, and brand communication style

Order & Table Management

• Input orders correctly into the POS system
• Track order progress and follow up with the kitchen/bar for timely delivery
• Maintain table cleanliness before, during, and after each service
• Prepare tables with linens, cutlery, glassware, and condiments

Brand Standards & Professionalism

• Uphold Above Lifestyle's ELITE values in communication, appearance, and service delivery
• Maintain personal grooming and uniform requirements at all times
• Handle guest complaints politely and escalate when necessary

Operations & Reporting

• Ensure proper handling of bills, receipts, and POS terminals
• Keep accurate records of orders, voids, and guest needs
• Report shortages, breakages, or operational issues immediately

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in F&B or hospitality service
• NCE / OND / HND in Hospitality training (preferred)
• Must be courteous, smart, and energetic
• Must live close to Jakande/Osapa London

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Basic POS knowledge
• Good grooming, confidence, and etiquette
• Teamwork and collaboration
