## Title: Vertical Sales Manager

About the Role

We are hiring a Vertical Sales Manager for a leading FinTech company that is redefining financial inclusion in Nigeria and across Africa. This is an in-person, mid-level management position based in Lagos, designed for a high performer who thrives at the intersection of sales strategy, product-market alignment, and growth execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive vertical growth by building and executing sales strategies focused on specific customer and market verticals to scale adoption and retention
  • Bridge product and market by working closely with product and marketing teams to align offerings with customer needs and industry opportunities
  • Own go-to-market (GTM) initiatives by developing and launching campaigns, activations, and initiatives that drive revenue within assigned verticals
  • Unlock partnerships by identifying and managing collaborations that accelerate adoption and deepen penetration in key markets
  • Leverage data and analytics to refine positioning and strengthen vertical sales strategies based on customer insights

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales management, vertical sales, or business development within fintech, tech, or financial services
  • Proven ability to craft growth strategies while delivering hands-on results
  • Strong skills in understanding customer pain points and converting them into business opportunities
  • Innovative mindset with passion for scaling products and exploring new growth levers
  • Based in Lagos with strong familiarity of the local ecosystem and ability to activate local networks
