About the Role

Beyond Credit Limited is seeking a dedicated Loan Verification Officer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will verify loan applications, ensure compliance with lending policies, and protect the integrity of our loan portfolio. We're looking for a detail-oriented, trustworthy individual passionate about maintaining financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify loan applications and supporting documents
• Conduct field visits to confirm borrower information and collateral
• Ensure adherence to lending policies, internal controls, and regulations
• Identify risks or irregularities and recommend appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with Loan Officers and other teams to resolve issues and improve processes
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular verification reports

Requirements

• B.Sc Degree or HND qualification in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in loan verification, internal control, or risk management (microfinance or financial institution experience preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• High integrity and ability to work independently
