Van Sales Representative

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview: - The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for selling and distributing the company’s Bottle Water products directly to retailers and customers using a company-assigned Van. The role focuses on achieving daily sales targets, expanding customer coverage, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers within assigned routes. Key Responsibilities: - Sell and distribute bottled water products directly from the van to retail outlets and customers. - Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within assigned territories. - Develop and manage strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and on-the-go customers. - Identify and open new outlets to expand market coverage. - Ensure proper product handling, stacking, and freshness during distribution. - Collect payments, issue receipts, and remit sales proceed accurately and promptly. - Maintain accurate daily sales, stock, and route reports. - Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management. - Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of the sales van. - Comply with company policies, safety standards, and traffic regulations. Requirements: - Minimum of OND/HND qualification in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. - Proven experience in van sales or route-to-market sales (FMCG experience will be an advantage). - Valid driver’s license with good driving record of manual transmission Van. - Good knowledge of local routes and retail markets. - Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and meet sales targets. - Sales and negotiation skills - Customer relationship management - Route planning and time management - Cash handling and accountability - Physical stamina and resilience.
