Job Summary

As part of our commitment to operational efficiency and timely product delivery, we are seeking a responsible and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and products safely and efficiently to various destinations. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent driving skills, knowledge of road safety regulations, and a strong sense of responsibility in handling company vehicles and goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver goods to designated locations on schedule
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in proper working condition
• Load and unload products, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage
• Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, and fuel consumption reports
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company driving policies
• Report any vehicle faults, damages, or required maintenance promptly
• Ensure cleanliness and good condition of the assigned truck at all times
• Support loading and offloading operations as needed
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics officers regarding delivery updates
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor or management

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE certificate
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Class E or higher preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Truck Driver, preferably in FMCG, logistics, or manufacturing
• Good knowledge of road networks and routes within Lagos and neighboring states
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and time management
• Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and maintenance
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness to work long hours when required
