Treasury and Finance Accountant

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Treasury and Finance Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial analysis
• Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations
• Support financial reporting activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–6 years of experience in financial accounting or a related role
• ICAN or other relevant certifications (a plus)

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems
• Expertise in maintaining and reconciling the general ledger to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
• Ability to develop, monitor, and manage budgets and financial plans
