Training Facilitator – GovTech & Policy Innovation Accelerator Program at Athena Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT)

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. AIBT is seeking a highly skilled Training Facilitator to deliver content for the GovTech & Policy Innovation Accelerator Program. The facilitator will guide participants, primarily public sector officers, tech innovators, and policy professionals, through cutting-edge concepts in digital governance, technology adoption, service delivery innovation, and public-sector transformation. The ideal candidate must be passionate about: - Digital transformation in government - Leveraging technology for public service delivery - Public-sector innovation, automation & data-driven governance - Policy development for tech-enabled institutions Key Responsibilities - Design and deliver modules on GovTech, Digital Governance & Policy Innovation - Facilitate practical labs using real-life case studies, simulations, and toolkits - Teach emerging technologies for governance (AI, data analytics, platforms, digital ID, automation) - Support participants in developing innovation projects/prototypes - Evaluate participant progress and provide actionable feedback - Work with AIBT to adapt global GovTech frameworks to the Nigerian/African context - Prepare post-training reports and learning assessments Requirements Essential Qualifications - PhD degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, ICT, Computer Science, Political Economy, Governance, or related field - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital governance, policy innovation, public-sector reform, or GovTech-related consulting - Demonstrated experience facilitating technology or governance-focused programmes Preferred Qualifications - PhD degree (PA, ICT Policy, IT, BA, Sc Data Science, etc.) - Experience with: - Digital transformation projects - Government technology deployments - Policy design labs - Innovation accelerators - Strong command of digital tools and platforms - Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills Additional Information - Attractive facilitation fee - Tech-enabled training environment - Access to AIBT’s curriculum, learning materials, and research resources - Possible long-term engagement for future GovTech and innovation projects - Hybrid delivery format (onsite + virtual) Check how your CV aligns with this job
