Job Summary The Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods across various locations in Nigeria. Requirements - Must possess a valid Class G driver’s license issued in Nigeria. - Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving heavy-duty trailers/trucks. - Strong knowledge of Nigerian road networks, traffic laws, and safety regulations. - Ability to complete long-distance hauls with alertness and discipline. - Proven track record of safe driving with minimal accident history. - Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle repairs or emergencies. - Good communication. - Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of long driving hours. - Must have integrity, reliability, and strong attention to detail. - Inspect vehicles daily before trips to ensure roadworthiness, proper documentation, and compliance with company safety standards. - Maintain accurate delivery records, waybills, and logbooks as required. - Ensure compliance with traffic laws, federal/state road regulations, and company driving policies. - Report mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents immediately to the operations supervisor. - Adhere strictly to delivery schedules while prioritizing safety. - Conduct routine maintenance checks such as oil, water, and tyre inspections.
