About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Tractor Operator to join our agricultural team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining farm tractors and related machinery used in ploughing, harrowing, planting, and harvesting activities. The ideal candidate must be hardworking and capable of performing basic maintenance on equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and farm implements safely and efficiently
• Conduct land preparation, planting, harrowing, and harvesting activities
• Transport crops, fertilizers, and other materials within and outside the farm
• Inspect, clean, and maintain tractors before and after use
• Report faults or maintenance needs promptly to the supervisor
• Perform minor repairs and ensure daily fueling and servicing
• Follow all safety rules and farm operational standards
• Assist in general farm activities as required

Requirements

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent qualification
• 3-5 years proven experience operating tractors or similar equipment
• Basic knowledge of tractor maintenance and minor repairs
• Physically fit and able to work under different weather conditions
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude
• Valid tractor operator's license (an added advantage)
