Terminal Operator at Hobark International Limited (HIL)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Terminal Operator to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our clients' Floating Storage & Offloading (FSO) terminal facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crude storage, lifting, cargo documentation, vessel operations, and coordination with marine and regulatory stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of FSO terminal facilities
• Manage crude storage and lifting operations
• Handle cargo documentation and scheduling
• Coordinate vessel operations and marine logistics
• Liaise with marine and regulatory stakeholders
• Monitor cargo metering, sampling, and demurrage control
• Ensure compliance with international maritime and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• HND or B.Sc. in Engineering, Marine Operations, Petroleum, or related field
• 8+ years' experience in oil & gas terminal operations (FSO/FSU/FPSO or crude export terminals)
• Valid BOSIET/Offshore Survival certification
• Strong understanding of IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, OCIMF, and DPR standards

Preferred Qualifications

• STCW/Tanker Familiarization or Advanced Oil Tanker Operations certification

Key Competencies

• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
• Strong HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) awareness
• Hands-on experience in cargo scheduling, metering, sampling, and demurrage control
