Job Summary

This hands-on apprenticeship program is designed to provide participants with practical, on-the-job training in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of cable systems, internet networks, and CCTV surveillance equipment. Successful candidates will gain valuable skills and exposure to real-world technical environments, laying a solid foundation for a career in the ICT and security systems industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in installing and configuring fiber optic and coaxial cable systems
• Support installation and configuration of internet routers, modems, and network devices
• Assist with CCTV cameras and surveillance systems setup
• Learn to read and interpret technical diagrams and installation plans
• Support troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks
• Follow safety protocols and handle tools and equipment responsibly
• Document installation activities and report progress to supervisors
• Provide courteous on-site support to clients when required

Training Includes

• Fundamentals of networking and cable infrastructure
• Hands-on practice with industry-standard tools and equipment
• Safety procedures and regulatory compliance
• Introduction to IP-based camera systems and remote monitoring
• Customer service and field communication skills

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: OND, HND, B.Sc., or equivalent
• Strong interest in technology and fieldwork
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel to various job sites
• Punctual, dependable, and eager to learn
• No prior experience required

Compensation & Benefits

• N7,000 per day of active participation (payable monthly)
