## Title: Technical Sales Manager – Paint Raw Materials
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Sales Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion for our paint raw materials and coatings division. This role combines strategic sales leadership with technical expertise, requiring you to manage nationwide operations while maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for the paint raw materials and coatings division
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor initiatives to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Use data and analytics to formulate and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies
- Build and maintain close relationships with key customers while expanding the business portfolio
- Drive market development activities aligned with company business goals and ensure strategic alignment in sourcing, sales, and marketing strategies
- Identify new market segments and business development opportunities with realistic forecasts
- Coordinate sales activities nationwide while ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with standard policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production departments to ensure timely product delivery and meet customer demands
- Provide nationwide technical support to customers on the development of new paint and coating products
- Continuously promote raw materials for paint production to current and potential customers
- Develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and sales bids to prospective customers
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates' performance toward team objectives
- Prepare and compile periodic activity and performance reports for senior management
Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in technical sales within the paints and coatings industry
- Sound understanding of paint formulations, additives, resins, pigments, and solvents
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
