Technical Project Delivery Manager

Position Overview

Wazobia Technologies is seeking a Technical Project Manager who is smart, passionate about software development, and possesses strong organization, communication, and leadership qualities. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of agile methodologies and experience managing multiple software development projects simultaneously.

This role is for self-starters with excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle. As an Agile Project Manager, you will be a key member of the Agile Delivery Team responsible for defining user stories, prioritizing the Product Backlog, and streamlining program execution while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of features and components.

You will work closely with the Software Development team to take ownership of new features and manage the end-to-end development process, collaborating with stakeholders and the Scrum team throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and participants in a project charter that serves as the foundation for the project
• Define roles and produce schedules and timelines for tasks according to business needs
• Manage project implementation timeframes and overall project plan, including deliverables, testing, and implementation support
• Provide overall leadership to the entire project team, including overseeing other functional team leaders
• Create and manage estimates, project plan, project schedule, resource allocation, and expenses to ensure targets are reached
• Lead scrum teams in delivering products that customers value while achieving business outcomes
• Perform backlog grooming and prioritize product improvements based on impact
• Identify issues and risks proactively and develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
