Technical Officer (Solar Installation) at Intavalto Nigeria Limited

Overview

We are seeking experienced Technical Officers to handle commercial and industrial solar projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working on C&I systems and minigrids, is comfortable working on-site, and can troubleshoot systems while ensuring projects meet safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems
• Carry out minigrid installations, testing and ongoing technical support
• Conduct site assessments and prepare technical reports
• Troubleshoot system faults and provide prompt solutions
• Work with the project team to ensure installations meet quality, safety and compliance requirements
• Support client training and handover processes after commissioning
• Keep accurate documentation for all installations and service activities

Requirements

• OND / HND / BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field
• Proven experience in C&I solar installation and engineering
• Experience working on minigrid projects
• Good understanding of electrical systems, safety standards and installation best practices
• Strong problem-solving and field troubleshooting skills
