An international company with operations in Lagos, Nigeria is expanding and seeking talented professionals to join its dynamic team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Technical Assistant to the CEO who will serve as a critical support resource to executive leadership. In this role, you will manage the CEO's calendar, serve as a gatekeeper, and ensure the CEO is well-prepared with necessary documents and information for all meetings and events.
You will work closely with the CEO to support the implementation of corporate strategies and goals while measuring business performance. This position requires direct correspondence with key company executives and the board of directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO's calendar and serve as a gatekeeper for scheduling and priorities
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and related documentation for servicing and developing contracts and relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Organize business review meetings to track operational performance against Annual Business Goals
- Prepare meeting agendas and supporting information packages; attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute to relevant managers and directors
- Follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely submissions for meeting packages
- Develop and maintain technical databases and spreadsheets; source technical documents, information, and drawings as needed
- Provide input to technical studies, research projects, and project planning initiatives
- Assist the CEO and other Directors in developing, coordinating, and implementing strategic company plans
- Answer inquiries and provide information on a wide range of business subjects
- Coordinate the CEO's internal and external itinerary
- Perform high-impact secretarial and administrative responsibilities for the CEO's Office
Required Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of the company's business operations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in database management and spreadsheet applications
- Professional communication skills with ability to interact with executives and board members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
