Position Overview

An established company is recruiting for a Core IT Audit Team Member to preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. This role provides assurance that IT controls are adequate and recommends improvements in areas where controls are weak or failing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and audit planning
• Evaluate internal controls and IT systems
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Report audit issues and recommend improvements
• Facilitate remediation and conduct follow-up reviews
• Perform daily auditing activities and continuous monitoring
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery audits
• Maintain clear documentation of audit scope, procedures, evidence, and findings
• Benchmark data during follow-up work and maintain audit documentation for transparency
• Regulate the application and correct use of artificial intelligence in audit activities
• Ensure compliance with ITGC policies and keep the team updated on developments in this area
• Keep current with industry trends and evolve audit practices accordingly

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
• 5 – 8 years of relevant experience
