## Title: Team Lead, Learning and Consulting
About the Role
The Team Lead, Learning and Consulting role exists to provide strategic direction and functional leadership to the Learning and Consulting Department at the Institute. You will drive efficiency and effectiveness in achieving departmental and organizational objectives.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Business Management and Development
- Develop strategies to achieve the vision and mission of the Institute's Learning and Consulting Department, positioning it as a reference point in learning programme development and delivery, and for the transfer of learning to internal and external customers in management, leadership, and human resources
- Set strategic goals, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures aligned with the Institute's strategic objectives to enhance return on learning and consulting investment and strengthen the Institute's profile
- Identify and drive new business initiatives, boost sales and profit levels, and oversee the Department's financial performance to ensure departmental profitability and financial sustainability
Learning Design, Development and Administration
- Develop and manage the Institute's learning events and professional development programs, including the Mandatory Continuous Professional Education (MCPE) and other flagship learning events
- Ensure the development of enhanced programs for professional development of HR practitioners and articulate the value proposition to prospective participants
- Work closely with client organizations to design bespoke learning programs that meet business needs and organizational objectives
Requirements
- BSc. Degree in Human Resources Management, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field
- Professional membership of CIPM is compulsory
- Master's degree (MBA, M.Ed., or MSc in HR or related field)
