## Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in supply chain management and vendor relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate pricing and terms of orders and projects with vendors, distributors, and OEMs
  • Maintain and foster relationships with vendors, distributors, and OEMs
  • Engage the project team for solution orders, providing weekly updates
  • Engage the Bid desk/Account officer for consumables orders with up-to-date updates
  • Manage the project team and internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues with existing orders
  • Obtain real-time updates on orders from vendors and distributors and communicate with related teams
  • Oversee vendor onboarding for new vendors and off-boarding for departing vendors
  • Conduct planned vendor performance assessments for new and existing vendors
  • Process vendor payments based on agreed terms and follow up with the finance team for prompt payment
  • Coordinate order pricing with vendors and distributors, ensure fair bidding, and send analysis to the CFO for order approval
  • Manage pick-up and delivery of orders to the office building
  • Review and update departmental documents and submit for necessary approvals
  • Post transactions on accounting software and carry out operational duties such as APGs and Performance Bonds
  • Register organizational certifications and perform tasks assigned by the line manager
