Supply Chain Officer (Solar EPC)

Role Objective

The Supply Chain Officer oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of materials for solar EPC projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that critical components—from PV modules to BESS—are procured, cleared through customs, and delivered to project sites across Nigeria on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement of solar equipment including PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, transformers, and balance of system (BOS) components
• Manage supplier sourcing, contract triggers, milestone payments, and production schedules
• Ensure all materials meet engineering specifications and project timelines
• Coordinate global shipping and freight forwarding documentation
• Manage the "Port-to-Site" process, including PAAR, SONCAP, and direct coordination with the Nigerian Customs Service and clearing agents
• Oversee inland movement from major ports (Apapa, Tin Can, Onne) to remote or rural project sites
• Synchronize procurement lead times with EPC project milestones to prevent site delays
• Maintain transparent communication with Engineering, Finance, and Project Management teams regarding material status

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering
• CIPS or APICS/CSCP certifications preferred
• CILT (Nigeria) membership highly preferred
