Core Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for pharmaceuticals, raw materials, and consumables
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers in line with quality, regulatory, and ethical standards
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLAs to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Oversee warehouse operations in compliance with GDP/GSP standards
• Implement inventory controls to minimize stock-outs, expiries, and losses
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution per NAFDAC, PCN, and WHO guidelines
• Lead stock reconciliations, audits, and reporting

Supply Chain Optimization

• Monitor forecasts, stock levels, and trends to optimize inventory turnover
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align supply with demand
• Deploy ERP/digital tools for visibility and efficiency
• Develop and enforce SOPs across procurement and warehousing

Compliance & People Management

• Ensure strict regulatory adherence (NAFDAC, PCN, WHO, GDP, GSP)
• Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse and procurement staff
• Uphold health, safety, and quality assurance standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Pharm degree and current PCN license (mandatory)
• Minimum 4 years' experience as Supply Chain Manager in pharmaceuticals
• Strong knowledge of pharma procurement, warehousing, and distribution
• Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management, and MS Office
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills
• In-depth understanding of GDP, GSP, and regulatory frameworks
