About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Hospitality Supervisor to join our team. In this position, you will manage staff, ensure excellent guest service, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and oversee daily operations in areas such as front desk, reservations, food and beverage, or events. You will train, schedule, and evaluate staff, handle guest complaints, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies to create positive guest experiences and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Management
- Supervise, schedule, and delegate tasks to staff members
- Provide training to new and existing employees on service standards, policies, and procedures
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback
- Motivate the team to meet service targets
Guest Experience
- Act as the first point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction
- Implement and enforce customer care policies
Operational Oversight
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department, such as the front desk, restaurant, or event spaces
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of operational areas
- Manage inventory and order supplies
Quality and Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor equipment functionality and report mechanical issues
- Implement food safety and personal safety protocols where applicable
Administrative Tasks
- Handle administrative duties such as maintaining logs and reports
- Assist with financial operations, including cash handling or preparing revenue reports
- Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping or maintenance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a hospitality setting
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
