Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations, supervise pharmacy staff, and maintain professional standards across all areas of pharmacy practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) standards
• Supervise and oversee the sale and supply of medicines to patients, ensuring accuracy and professional service delivery
• Develop, document, and maintain effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required by PCN
• Provide clinical and professional leadership to all pharmacy staff
• Monitor and assess the training, performance, and competencies of pharmacy staff in line with PCN's Code of Ethics
• Maintain the Pharmacy Record in compliance with the Medicines Act and PCN guidelines
• Ensure medicines are stored appropriately, maintain temperature logs, and follow procedures for safe disposal of expired or returned medicines
• Manage controlled drugs according to The Safer Management of Controlled Drugs principles, maintaining accurate records
• Support management during audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities to ensure regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• B.Pharm or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree
• Registered and Licensed Pharmacist authorized to practice in Nigeria
• Minimum of 3–5 years post-qualification experience
• At least one year in a superintendent or senior pharmacist role

Compensation

Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 monthly. Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, inclusive of statutory obligations and professional benefits.
