## Title: Structural Engineer
Job Summary
The Structural Engineer supports the plan, design, analysis, and supervision of the construction, installation, and maintenance of structural systems across all company project sites, ensuring safety, compliance, cost-efficiency, and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Design & Analysis
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, and support structures for oil & gas, industrial, and civil engineering projects
- Develop engineering drawings, specifications, and structural design documents
- Use engineering software (e.g., STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD) to model, simulate, and validate designs
Project Engineering Support
- Provide technical input during project planning, bidding, and execution
- Prepare engineering calculations, material specifications, BOQs, and technical reports
- Assist in reviewing third-party engineering submissions and vendor drawings
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable codes (Eurocodes, BS Standards, API, ASCE, etc.)
- Conduct site inspections, structural integrity assessments, and load testing as required
- Ensure structural safety across all assigned projects
Construction & Installation Support
- Provide engineering supervision during fabrication, construction, and installation
- Resolve technical issues on-site and update design changes where necessary
- Coordinate with project managers, QA/QC, HSE, and other engineering disciplines
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare technical reports, calculation packages, method statements, and progress updates
- Maintain documentation in line with company quality management systems
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- B.Eng or B.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum 4 years proven experience in structural design and site supervision, especially within EPC/EPCIC or oil & gas environments
