Job Summary
As part of our operational excellence drive, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage inventory, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support seamless supply chain operations. The Store Keeper will be responsible for the efficient management of all store operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring materials and products.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and integrity in handling company stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, supplies, and products
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly
- Issue materials and items to departments based on approved requisitions
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
- Ensure proper arrangement, labeling, and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss
- Monitor stock movement and alert management on low or overstock situations
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store environment
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
- Support internal and external audits of store operations
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards
Qualifications and Requirements
- OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree in Store Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or any related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or agricultural companies
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Excel
- Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills
- High level of accuracy, honesty, and accountability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
