Store / Inventory Officer at Swift Consulting

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Swift Consulting in Lagos as a Store/Inventory Officer. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for organization and inventory management who wants to make a tangible impact on operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, supplies, groceries, linens, and hospitality-related items
• Maintain accurate stock records, issue items to relevant departments, and update inventory logs promptly
• Conduct routine stock counts, reconciliations, and prepare variance reports
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of items for safety, accessibility, and quality preservation
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to management
• Implement effective inventory control procedures to prevent wastage, spoilage, and pilferage
• Prepare periodic inventory reports showing stock levels, movements, and usage trends
• Coordinate with vendors, procurement teams, and operations to ensure timely delivery of stock
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready store environment
• Support operational teams in meeting daily supply needs efficiently

Required Qualifications

• HND/BSc in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in storekeeping, inventory control, warehouse operations, or similar role (preferably within the hospitality sector)
• Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage stock levels across multiple service points or facilities
• Good knowledge of inventory management systems, stock reconciliation, and basic reporting
• Detail-oriented with high accountability
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
