## Title: State Technical Assistant – TB/HIV Program

Position Overview

The State Technical Assistant (STA) will coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities and contribute strategically to the success and impact of the Global Fund GC7 Project. This role is critical in driving evidence-based decision-making and fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement throughout state-level implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Service Scale-Up Oversight

  • Provide day-to-day oversight for the scale-up of community TB, drug-resistant TB (DRTB), HIV, and public-private mix (PPM) services across the state
  • Coordinate with all field workers engaged by state representatives to ensure effective service delivery

Coordination and Data Reporting

  • Support the State Technical Officer in ensuring seamless coordination and robust data reporting
  • Work closely with cluster coordinators and Local Government Area (LGA) TB/HIV reporting structures

Knowledge Transfer and Capacity Building

  • Collaborate with the state TB and Leprosy Control Program (STBLCP) and State AIDS Control Program (SASCP) to facilitate knowledge transfer and capacity building as TB and HIV service integration is scaled up
  • Build the capacity of existing state TB and HIV structures toward program sustainability

Data Management

  • Collate and analyze program data following LGA validation of TB and HIV data
  • Identify gaps in providers, facilities, and LGAs and develop remedial actions

Workplan Development

  • Develop weekly state and LGA TB/HIV activity workplans in line with the approved state budget

Technology Systems Management

  • Onboard field teams and service providers on technological solutions (MATS, CommTB, AIM 250, EPCON, specimen movement dashboard)
  • Manage back-end operations of these systems and work with central teams to troubleshoot issues

On-Site Mentoring

  • Provide on-site mentoring and capacity building to TB/HIV program implementers at various levels
