Solar Engineer at Beacongate Limited

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated Solar Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of installed solar energy systems across existing facilities. You will ensure system reliability, manage technical teams, conduct diagnostics, and implement upgrades to maximize energy output and system longevity.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze performance of solar PV systems across all sites
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnostics
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for repairs and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and energy regulations
• Maintain accurate records of energy production, downtime, and maintenance activities
• Provide technical reports and recommendations to management
• Support expansion projects and integration of new solar technologies

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc Degree or HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
• COREN registration (mandatory)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in solar PV system design, installation, or maintenance
• Strong knowledge of inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and monitoring systems
• Familiarity with Nigerian energy regulations and grid interaction
