## Title: Social Media Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Media Manager to own and grow our brand presence across key platforms. This hybrid role requires a sharp focus on content, community, and conversion. If you live and breathe LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok, we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Dealmakers' brand, growth, and product priorities
- Build and manage a detailed content calendar for campaigns, product launches, events, and webinars
- Define and own performance against clear KPIs (reach, engagement, CTR, leads, followers, etc.)
Content & Community
- Create and publish high-quality, engaging content including:
- Thought leadership on FX, cross-border payments, and African trade
- Explainer carousels, infographics, short videos, and relevant memes
- Customer stories and case studies
- Manage day-to-day posting and actively handle community engagement (comments, DMs, mentions)
- Grow and nurture a community of founders, CFOs, finance leads, and operators across Africa and the UK
Brand & Campaigns
- Collaborate with Growth and Marketing teams to translate campaigns (webinars, product launches, blog posts) into compelling social narratives
- Partner with designers and video editors to ensure all creative output is on-brand
- Maintain a consistent brand voice: customer-centric, trustworthy, innovative, and African-focused
Analytics & Optimization
- Track and analyze performance using native analytics and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Analytics, Meta Business Suite)
- Report weekly and monthly on results, insights, and next steps
- Run continuous experiments (A/B testing hooks, formats, posting times) to improve engagement and conversion rates
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Social Media Management, Content Marketing, or a similar role (B2B or fintech preferred)
- Proven track record of growing and managing social media communities
