Social Media Associate at DeFi Planet

About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within DeFi Planet, a digital publication focusing on Web3, Blockchain Technology, Cryptocurrencies, and DeFi.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage social media accounts and related tools across multiple platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
• Create high-quality social media content, including animated videos, reels, and memes for various platforms
• Engage with audiences through timely responses to comments, shares, and direct messages
• Create polls and strategically reshare and post content to maximize engagement
• Act as Lead Community Manager for channels including Telegram, Discord, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
• Maintain consistent brand presence across all social media channels with professionalism and a unified tone
• Curate trending news on Crypto, DeFi, Blockchain, and Web3 from credible sources for content development
• Utilize analytics and SEO research to understand user preferences and relay findings to the Editorial Team
• Stay updated with crypto regulatory and public policy developments, including CBDCs
• Proactively support the management team in business development and relationship building with third parties
• Repost content snippets on public directories including Medium, Discord, and Quora
• Implement digital marketing strategies, including social media advertising, email marketing, paid ads, display ads, SEO, SEM, and PPC
• Collaborate with external technology providers to ensure platform functionality
• Publish articles on the website, optimizing tags, keywords, and image SEO
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to create professional images for DeFi Planet publications

Essential Requirements

• Degree in a relevant area such as English, Literature, Journalism, Marketing, Media, or IT
• Native English speaker with excellent communication skills
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in social media management, digital marketing, SEO, and content marketing
