SME Relationship Officer at Addosser Microfinance Bank

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as an SME Relationship Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for new SME clients and assist with their loan applications
• Analyze and interpret financial statements to assess repayment capacity and financial viability of borrowers
• Recommend loans to the Credit Unit for approval
• Monitor loan repayment and ensure 100% recovery of disbursed loans
• Develop market intelligence, conduct detailed research, and analyze competition to capture assigned market space
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of all products and services, and develop strategies to communicate product essentials across available platforms (one-on-one meetings, social media, target group engagement, and other sales channels)
• Maintain strong contact and relationships with clients
• Study market and industry trends to boost personal performance and achieve targets within set timelines
• Execute additional duties as assigned by team lead and management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Social Sciences or any other relevant field of study
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in SME lending at a financial institution (preferably a Microfinance Bank or Finance house)
