## Title: Site Lifting Specialist (QAQC)
About the Role
A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. As a Site Lifting Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all lifting and handling operations maintain the highest safety and compliance standards within the pipe yard facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Continually liaise with the CPLO to ensure that lifting and handling standards are consistently respected within the pipe yard
- Ensure that all applicable Company Rules (e.g. CR EP HSE 043) and Company Lifting Procedures (Lifting Management System) regarding handling and lifting operations are well understood and applied by all personnel involved
- Ensure integrity compliance of all lifting equipment as required by relevant company rules
- Advise the RSESD on issues pertaining to lifting and handling operations
- Register, maintain, and update the database for all lifting equipment
- Ensure that all certificates provided meet the minimum standards prescribed by LOLER and other relevant applicable standards
- Ensure safe working load limits (SWL) or working load limits (WLL) of lifting equipment are strictly adhered to and never exceeded
- Carry out yearly assessments of all dedicated lifting equipment in the pipe yard and justify their capacity utilization
- Develop a rigging loft procedure and ensure that the rigging loft is properly and adequately controlled
- Ensure that lifting equipment and lifting standards are respected in day-to-day operations
- Review Lifting Operations Plans for all critical lifting or handling operations on site
- Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) of critical lifts and attend all critical lifts carried out within the pipe yard
Required Qualifications
- Technical Engineering degree
- 3 years of verifiable experience in lifting and handling operations
- LEEA/NSL certification up to Level 4
- Demonstrated knowledge of all types of lifting equipment and operations
- Ability to prepare and review lifting engineering calculations and risk assessments
- Good knowledge of English
