Site Engineer at Spitze Construction Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, dedicated, and skilled Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day construction activities on worksites. You will ensure that all projects meet company expectations in terms of quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Organize equipment and manpower necessary to complete projects
• Coordinate and supervise workers on construction sites
• Provide schedules for workers and assign tasks to construction laborers
• Liaise with contractors, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure coordination across all parties
• Analyze drawings to ensure construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications
• Maintain safety and quality standards throughout all project phases
• Keep detailed records of construction site activities
• Define project scope and purpose, determine required resources, and allocate them effectively
• Establish protocols and standards, and schedule staff accordingly
• Resolve design problems and evaluate deadline estimates, adjusting as needed
• Implement change orders and accomplish project goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in the construction industry
• Sound knowledge of construction processes, materials, building codes, and construction safety regulations
• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Ability to interpret blueprints
• Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
