About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Site Engineer. You will oversee and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction activities at the site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion
• Analyse and interpret engineering plans, aerial photography, blueprints, topographical and geologic data, and technical drawings to plan and execute construction activities
• Organize materials and ensure sites are safe and clean
• Prepare cost estimates and ensure appropriate materials and tools are available
• Provide technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment as required
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts
• Authorize technical drawings and engineering plans
