Job Objective
The Showroom Assistant will assist the Showroom Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a high-end luxury furniture showroom. The individual is responsible for creating an inviting showroom environment, hosting client meetings, and ensuring a premium customer experience. This role will report directly to the Showroom Manager.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated, and confident individual who can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and adhering to the core values of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily showroom operations in collaboration with the Showroom Manager
- Create and maintain an inviting, professional showroom environment
- Host and facilitate client meetings
- Deliver premium customer service experiences
- Coordinate showroom events and presentations
- Manage visual merchandising and showroom displays
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Sales, Marketing)
- 2+ years of experience in retail or showroom management, ideally in the furniture or luxury goods sector
- Excellent customer management skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage high-end clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Prior experience or knowledge of the furniture industry
- Event management and coordination experience
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and showroom presentation
- Strong negotiation and sales closing skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven approach
