About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to oversee the daily operations of the store. As Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of store management, including product availability, staff supervision, customer service, and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments
• Manage cash handling, perform daily bank deposits, reconcile invoices, and secure daily revenue
• Stock all incoming shipments upon weekly arrival and manage inventory levels
• Monitor stock replenishment and maintain appropriate inventory levels for all product lines
• Manage and order store supplies as needed
• Process special merchandise orders upon customer request
• Supervise salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other store employees
• Schedule shifts and manage workforce scheduling
• Train new staff members and support their professional development
• Deliver superior customer service and work with the team to promote sales
• Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers
• Address customer requests, comments, and complaints professionally
• Coordinate communications with customers and head office
• Maintain store tidiness and monitor staff hygiene and dress code compliance
• Monitor shelf stocks, product displays, and overall store appearance
• Keep records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance
• Implement measures to prevent stock damage, theft, and wastage
• Investigate market trends and recommend products that appeal to customers
• Perform all managerial duties during assigned shifts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a retail store supervisor or similar role
• Extensive experience preparing financial and expense reports
• In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
