About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to oversee the daily operations of our store. As Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, staff, customer service, and finances.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including product availability and placement
• Manage cash, perform daily bank deposits, reconcile and process invoices, and secure daily revenue
• Stock incoming shipments upon weekly arrival and manage inventory levels
• Manage stock replenishment and ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and ordered
• Manage store supplies and order special merchandise upon request
• Monitor shelf stocks and product displays to maintain the general appearance of the store
• Implement measures to prevent stock damage, theft, and wastage
• Oversee salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees
• Provide all managerial duties during assigned shifts
• Train new staff members and schedule shifts
• Keep records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance
• Ensure the entire store is clean and tidy; check staff dressing and general hygiene
• Deliver superior customer service and work with the team to promote sales
• Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers
• Address customer requests, comments, and complaints professionally
• Coordinate communications with customers and the head office
• Investigate market trends and recommend products that appeal to customers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a retail store supervisor or similar role
• Extensive experience preparing financial and expense reports
• In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
