## Title: Shift Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Shift Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) to oversee all E&I operations at our film manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and hands-on experience managing electrical and instrumentation systems within a continuous process manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Electrical & Instrumentation operations during assigned shifts
  • Ensure uninterrupted operation of Blown Film, Printing, Slitting, and Utility control systems
  • Oversee HT & LT power distribution systems, transformers, and ensure electrical safety compliance
  • Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation systems for blown film lines, extrusion, winding, and auxiliary equipment
  • Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
  • Participate in energy optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, electrical safety standards, and company policies
  • Lead and support the E&I team to enhance technical skills and productivity
  • Carry out troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in an industrial Electrical & Instrumentation role
  • Prior experience in a film manufacturing or continuous process plant is an added advantage

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Strong hands-on experience with HT & LT electrical systems, substations, and power distribution
  • Practical knowledge of industrial instrumentation, automation, and process control systems
  • Familiarity with film manufacturing machinery and associated instrumentation
  • Sound understanding of electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance
