Settlement and Reconciliation Officer at Hazon Holdings

About the Role

We are looking for a Settlement & Reconciliation Officer with strong experience in financial transactions and payment platforms. The successful candidate will ensure accurate daily settlements on the CiCOServe platform, manage transaction disputes, and reconcile accounts in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily settlements, reconciliations, and transaction disputes
• Liaise with settlement banks, NIBSS, Interswitch, and other partners
• Maintain updated settlement databases and perform system reconciliations
• Monitor pool account balances, client deposits, and billing statements
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation and settlement reports
• Support chargeback dispute resolutions and customer complaints

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of experience in settlements/reconciliation (banking, fintech, or payments)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reconciliation tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
