Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior SME Loan Officer based in Lagos, Nigeria. This role offers excellent opportunities for career growth within a dynamic microfinance banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve loan applications according to established lending criteria
• Manage loan origination processes from initial application through disbursement
• Conduct thorough underwriting of loan applications and assess creditworthiness
• Provide excellent customer service and support to SME clients
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and organizational policies
• Meet and exceed lending targets to support SME growth and business objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial services role
• Expertise in loan origination, underwriting, and financial analysis
• Solid understanding of SME lending practices and tailored financial solutions
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment while meeting lending targets

• Previous experience working in a microfinance or banking environment
