Senior SME Loan Officer

Role Description - This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nigeria for a Senior SME Loan Officer. - The Senior SME Loan Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of loan applications, including assessing creditworthiness, underwriting, and loan origination. - In addition, the role involves providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with SME clients to understand their financial needs. - The Senior Loan Officer will also collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements while achieving business objectives. Required Qualifications: - Proficiency in Loan Origination and expertise in loan application processes - Strong skills in Finance and Underwriting, with the ability to assess and mitigate risk effectively - Excellent Customer Service skills to build and maintain strong client relationships - Experience working as a Loan Officer, particularly in SME lending - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and the ability to work independently - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field - Prior experience in microfinance or SME banking is highly desirable
