Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Senior Risk and Management of Change Engineer to join our team. This position reports directly to the Team Lead Planning and is responsible for delivering robust risk management and change control processes across our project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and maintain standard, consistent, and realistic risk management processes as a framework to identify, evaluate, plan responses, and monitor the effectiveness of these responses for all potential opportunities or threats to project objectives
- Perform probabilistic cost and schedule risk analyses
- Deliver and maintain standard and consistent Management of Change (MoC) work processes from initiation to close-out
- Set focused goals to deliver "Best in Class" competitive projects for Nigeria Deepwater Projects
- Collaborate with Global Project Services for standardization, tools calibration, data collection, benchmarking, continuous improvement, and Regional/Global Risk Management support
- Ensure all internal and external stakeholders are aligned with key opportunity/project strategies and anticipated results
- Drive collaboration across multiple project teams and prioritize work efforts to support successful project outcomes
Project Scope
This role covers opportunities and projects across multiple phases including:
- Block bidding, deal, and exploration initiatives
- Greenfield and brownfield development projects
- Decommissioning projects
- Project phases: Identify, Assess, Select, Define, Execute, and Decommissioning
Stakeholder Management
This position requires engagement with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including:
- Project Teams and Discipline Engineering
- Portfolio Managers
- Operations & Commissioning teams
- Wells, Development, Contracts & Procurement, and Finance departments
- HR, Commercial, Legal, and HSSE functions
- Assets and Decommissioning teams
- Technical Planning and Group Project Services
- Vendors, Contractors, and Co-Venturers
- Regulatory bodies and industry partners
