Senior Marketing Executive (Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager)

About the Role

Beacongate Limited seeks a dedicated Senior Marketing Executive to join our Lagos office. This deputy/assistant manager position is central to driving our marketing strategy and revenue growth across key business segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive annual marketing strategies and monthly sales action plans
• Liaise with brokers to identify and pursue profitable business opportunities
• Provide market intelligence to guide and optimize marketing efforts
• Coordinate and support team members in new business acquisition from brokers and other market segments
• Actively source new brokers and develop direct clientele through strategic networking
• Achieve set targets for revenue generation and premium collection
• Manage administrative functions including record maintenance and policy renewal follow-up
• Attend industry meetings, seminars, and training programs to stay current on products, services, and best practices
• Assist in property inspections and surveys to assess insurance risks and evaluate client suitability
• Review documents for accuracy before delivery to clients and brokers
• Build and maintain robust databases on market trends, clients, and prospects
• Foster constructive working relationships with brokers and clients
• Monitor outstanding payments and enforce adherence to company credit control policies
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, collections, and renewals
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Branch or Department

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent relationship management skills including persuasion, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients effectively
• Strong understanding of key issues affecting target clients and market dynamics
• 6 to 12 years of professional experience in insurance marketing
