About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Engineer to lead and manage our IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise IT solutions, ensuring system reliability, security, and optimal performance. You will provide technical leadership, manage complex IT projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT systems, including servers, networks, and endpoints
• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues
• Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, antivirus, and data protection measures
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and technology deployments
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues
• Manage cloud and on-premise environments, including virtualization technologies
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
• Mentor junior IT staff and provide technical guidance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional IT engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and enterprise systems
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker)
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with IT documentation
