Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Senior Contract Engineer. In this role, you will provide professional contract engineering services while ensuring strict adherence to project procedures and maintaining transparent communication with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

General Duties

• Provide professional contract engineering services with attention to detail to prevent future disputes
• Keep the Head of Contracts fully informed of all developments that may impact contract delivery
• Liaise with Contract Engineers on other package contracts to identify and manage contractual interface matters
• Work collaboratively with Project Control Team functions (planning, cost control, QA/QC, document control) to successfully deliver contracts
• Ensure a consistent approach to contract management across all packages

Pre-Contract Activities (Up to Contract Award)

• Prepare Call for Tender documentation and specific Tender and Tender Evaluation Procedures in accordance with company procedures
• Administer the tendering process to ensure due process is respected and timely progress is achieved
• Prepare and issue communication documentation with tenderers
• Organize tender clarification meetings and manage tender correspondence and filing
• Liaise with Project Team members responsible for relationships with relevant authorities to ensure they are kept updated on tender progress and developments
• Obtain necessary approvals and coordinate attendance at meetings with relevant stakeholders
