Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a proven track record of leading business analysis activities within the Nigerian energy sector. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience conducting business with NUIMS, NNPC, NUIM Antan, NGC, NEPL, and multiple International Oil Companies (IOCs) on a project basis.

This role requires deep industry knowledge, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for energy and oil & gas sector projects
• Gather, validate, and document business and technical requirements
• Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments
• Create functional specifications, process maps, and business cases

Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage high-level stakeholders across NUIMS, NNPC, NUIM Antan, NGC, NEPL, and various IOCs
• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and steering committee reviews
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners

Project Delivery

• Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and vendor partners to ensure alignment with business goals
• Support project planning, scope definition, and risk assessment
• Validate deliverables and drive user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Track benefits realization and ensure project outcomes add business value

Data & Process Optimization

• Analyze operational and business data to identify process inefficiencies
• Recommend improvements to optimize workflows and decision-making
• Support digital transformation initiatives within the energy/oil & gas domain

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
